As part of the ERASMUS+ programme, international students participating in the course Inclusive Sport Exchange took part in an educational excursion to Ramsau am Dachstein. The excursion provided an excellent opportunity to combine academic learning with practical experience in an inspiring alpine environment.

During the programme, students gained valuable knowledge in the field of inclusive and adaptive sports. A particular focus was placed on disability sports, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of different types of disabilities, inclusive training approaches, and the importance of equal access to physical activity and sport. Practical sessions and interactive activities enabled students to experience inclusive sport concepts first-hand.

In addition to the academic content, the excursion promoted intercultural exchange and collaboration among the ERASMUS+ students. The shared experience in Ramsau strengthened teamwork and cultural understanding while highlighting the significance of inclusion, diversity, and participation in sport. Overall, the excursion represented a meaningful learning experience that will positively influence the students’ future professional practice.
