ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) ‚Inclusive Post-Secondary Education‘

The ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) ‚Inclusive Post-Secondary Education‘ offered students and professionals the opportunity to explore current issues in Inclusive Education in an interdisciplinary and international context. The programme combined digital and on-site learning activities, fostering exchange between universities, experts, and students across Europe and the USA.

Participants engaged with strategies on educational equity and social inclusion and deepened their knowledge of inclusive higher education, accessibility in learning environments, and challenges of heterogeneous educational backgrounds. International case studies allowed for comparison of different inclusion models and assessment of their effectiveness.

A key element was practice-oriented workshops and project-based learning. Students developed recommendations, reflection tools, and practical solutions that enhance understanding of inclusive settings and support professional development in the education and social sectors.

Excursions and institutional visits provided insights into existing support structures and promoted a transnational understanding of inclusive practice. Group project results were presented in a scientific format, strengthening academic, methodological, and intercultural competencies.

The BIP contributes sustainably to international networking, the promotion of academic discourse, and the advancement of an inclusion-sensitive university culture.
